Beth and Mike engagement at Cabrini College

Last weekend, on August 9th I had the opportunity to spend some time with Beth and Mike working on some engagement photos for them.  What an awesome couple – first, the day got off to a truly dreadful start with possibly the hardest rain we’ve seen in the last two years.  On my way to Cabrini College, where we were shooting at the Mansion, I swore my car was going to get washed off the road. Then, I missed the invisible turn into the campus.  Then I drove past the mansion and had to figure out how to get back.  Phew.   Anyways, these guys were troopers and I think we got some really excellent shots indoors and out.  Kudos to them for getting us in on a Sunday – we had the whole place to ourselves!

First, a few from inside.  The interior was really quite dark and a bit challenging given the gloomy weather, but making use of some video lights and some reflections gave some very nice results.  These first few were nice because I think Beth and Mike really started to get comfortable in front of the camera.  *click click click*.

I love the look of this one, very intimate photo of Beth and Mike.

By the time we made it outside, the weather had cleared somewhat allowing us to get some fun shots.

Ok so it stopped raining before we could get the rain shot I was dreaming of all morning in front of the Cabrini Mansion. Oh well, it was still fun to pretend with Beth and Mike.

Sandy and Kyle

Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with Joe Pulcinella on the wedding of Sandy and Kyle over at the Wayne United Methodist church.  The reception was held at the beautiful Waterford Ballroom in the Valley Forge Radisson.  After the ceremony, we headed down to Philadelphia to grab a few shots and then on to the reception.  What a fun couple to work with and the weather held off!  The reception ended with a bang with the Philadelphia Eagles mascot and University of Delaware mascots making an appearance – how fun is that!

Stephanie and Ryan

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie and Ryan’s wedding at the Wayne Presbyterian Church and reception at the Concordville Inn’s Golden Ballroom.  This was the second time I had shot at the Concordville Inn, and this time was even more fun!  Steph and Ryan were a great couple to shoot and really made the day a pleasure to spend with them.

Here are a few images from the day – enjoy!

Yesterday I shot a wonderful wedding over at the Waterfall Banquet and Conference Center in Claymont, Delaware.   This was a very nice afternoon wedding with great guests who really got out there on the dance floor and got down witht he DJ from Silver Sound.

Here’s a few of my favorites from the day!

Model Shoot in Philadelphia

Last weekend (April 5th as it turns out), I was invited by a photographer-friend of mine to participate in a model shoot he was planning with one of his friends Lauren DeYenno.  I thought this would be pretty fun to go and shoot in center city Philadelphia on what looked to be one of the nicest days yet this year.  The weather ended up being a virtually cloudless day in the low 70’s.  Wonderful weather (by contast, it was 34 yesterday!).

On the way down from Phoenixville, I picked up another photographer Dave Milowicki and met up with everyone at the Sheratin in center city (I think it was like 17th and Arch street, or somewhere near there).  Anyways, we started shooting outside a wonderful little church that was a few blocks down towards the Ben Franklin Blvd, and here’s a few I captured from there.  These are with just the sun and a reflector.

After some shooting at the church, we continued down the Ben Franklin Blvd, working our way down towards the art museam ending around sunset.  Here’s a few more from the day.  Feel free to leave comments.
